Keiger Printing Company Receives Special Judges Award in 2004 PICA Awards Competition
January 29, 2005 - Keiger Printing Company, Inc. of Winston-Salem, NC received an award in the 2004 PICA Awards Competition, hosted by the Printing Industry of the Carolinas (PICA), Incorporated.
There were 75 printing companies, high school, or collegiate graphics programs that submitted 920 entries. Keiger Printing Company received a Special Judges award for the digitally printed 4-color Champion Survival Guide designed for Champion Athleticwear by Henderson Bromstead.
PICA is a 70-year-old trade association representing the graphic communications industry in North and South Carolina. The PICA Awards program, established in 1966, is the most prestigious symbol of printing excellence throughout North and South Carolina and is open only to members of PICA. North Carolina ranks as the 14th largest state print market in the United States with $4,198.7 billion in sales, 1,034 total printing establishments, and 28,447 employees. South Carolina ranks as the 28th in the nation with $1,450.7 billion in sales, 381 establishments, and 9,605 employees.
