Congratulations DCCC in Admission Advertising Gold Awards!
April 1, 2008
A customer dear to our hearts, Davidson County Community College, entered several of their promotional pieces into the national Admission Advertising competition (the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country) and won! The community college took home Two Golds (both of which Keiger Printing Company produced), One Silver and One Merit!
The two Gold Awards were won in the "Total Recruitment Package" and the "Annual Report" categories. The Total Recruitment Package was designed by Lin Taylor Graphic Design and written by Dave Knesel of Winston-Salem. Photography was done by John Baucom of JB Photo of Davidson County. DCCC utlilized Keiger Printing's variable data imaging technology to print personalized/targeted recruitment packages featuring Tec (shown above). Tec talked to high school students in their own text-messaging language about the Tech-Prep program. The students were sent a mailing tube with a personalized poster on the inside encouraging them to talk to their counselor about taking tech-prep courses. They were then given a personalized calendar later in the month fully adorned with Tec and packed full of useful information about the program.
The 2006-2007 Annual Report was a 32-page catalog printed 4-color process with a satin coating. The cover of the catalog is shown above.
Congratulations Davidson County Community College!
